WITH WHOM I was born in Venice 36 years ago, I grew up in this beautiful city and went to school and university here. I finished the A. Gritti Tourism High School in Venice with a vote of 60/60 and took my degree in Foreign Languages and Literature at Ca' Foscari university with a vote of 110 cum laude/110. I started working as a professional guide in Spring 2000 after having passed the official test and obtaining my licence. Since then I am an authorized, professional English and German speaking GUIDE. I enjoy my work a lot ! WHAT My guided sightseeing tours in Venice are always PRIVATE TOURS, for individuals, families with children, small parties or already formed groups. Tours in Venice are usually walking tours (this means if you have trouble in walking over many bridges we can decide for museums-with-lift visits or alternative boat tours). Tours in Venice usually last approx. 2 hours, however also 3 or 4 hour' tours are possible. Tours begin at 9 or 11 o'clock in the morning or at 14 or 15 or 16 in the afternoon. On Sunday mornings all churches are closed to visitors. In the summer months nearly all churches are open till 18 and museums till 19; in the winter months till 17. As each client is for me a Nr. 1 priority I try to provide more than just a tour. WHERE AND WHEN 2010 My tours start from the lobby of your HOTEL, when your hotel is centrally located. Or we can also meet directly in St. Mark's between the 2 high granit columns towards the waterfront with the winged lion and St. Theodor... You will recognize me from my light blue badge !!! Or we can decide another meeting point at your convience !!! HOW Venice is very busy from Spring to Autumn... so BOOK IN ADVANCE ... and ... please do not forget to specify in your request how many you will be (and your ages), if you have already been in Venice, when you are planning to come, where you are going to stay, what your main interests and expectations are, you address, phone or fax number in case your (or my) computer crashes !
